Photo Shoot

At 16 months old, we finally got around to getting "one year old" photos done for Leslie Mykael. It was 110 degrees this day and even though the studio was 72 degrees, it was still hot with all the activity. We laughed at ourselves as we arrived for our appointment, telling the front desk person that we needed a wardrobe clothing rack. We had fun taking over 140 photos. A few made "the cut" but they give you a disc of all your shots to do with whatever you want to, BUT print, so here are some of the shots we liked, but did not love.

She learned the art of holding a purse from Ma San. She walks around with ANYTHING that has a strap with her arm up in the air. Monique made the bag the night before our shoot.

This one made the cut. Her serious "prairie girl" face was perfect for her little pink and brown get-up.

This one made the cut, sans Monique's hand.

This one made the cut, lightened up a bit.

She is method-acting here like she is falling backward off a building.

The girl loves miniature furniture.

We have made her shoe-obsessed.

Luckily, none of these came out great, since Monique forgot to let her hair back down on this scorching hot day. When she got back into our dressing room and looked in the mirror at the oversight, she was like, AAAHHHHH!
