15 years and counting...

The old saying “time flies when you are having fun” applies big time to our marriage. For the first time, we had to pull out the calculator to figure out our years of marriage. We were certain it was 14 years, but we now know it is 15. On June 5, 1993, we stood before God and our “village” of family and friends to formally commit to one another. What a great day!!

Our program.

We loved this art work that we had redone for our program cover. We actually "jumped the broom" as we made our entrance for our reception festivities. We loved the African and African American significance of this practice.

The week we met. We sure do seem to be quite the cozy couple.

In true pack rat style, of course I kept the digits. She gave me her Louisiana info, as well as her girlfiend's info in Atlanta. We met at a Morehouse graduation party at a famous Atlanta club. She was visiting her girlfriend, a Spelman student/graduate and we met that night in the club.

The fellas.
