Quadson's first school assignment

"Hey Buddy, come let me tell you about Louisiana World." This was Quadson's self-created sales pitch to get observers to visit his project display. He is truly on target. The place is a whole world unto itself...not like any of the other 49 states.

He and Monique designed and built a beehive (to the left in the photo) filled with honey bee crackers for passers-by to snack on. The bee is the state insect. His map had small 3D houses glued on it representing places where his family lives all over the state. He had magnolia branches from our own yard's tree, to represent the state tree. The gator replica noted the state reptile, as well as a pelican replica noting the state bird. There were also lots of photos from our recent tour that showcased his visit to the old state capital in Baton Rouge, his trip to the wildlife museum, and his trip to a 200 year old home in New Roads, Louisiana. He had many talking points to engage his visitors. He got an A+.
