We are Jackson, III "Trey", Leslie Monique Porche-Smith, Jackson, IV "Quadson" [sounds like kayson], Leslie Mykael Porche Smith, and Tuxedo, the cat. Reach us at treymo@hotmail.com. We work, play and pray together in Cherokee County, GA and Metro Atlanta. Jackson works in cancer research and education at a medical school. Monique owns a personal chef business, in addition to working as full time faculty at an art college where she just also got her culinary bachelor's degree. Jackson and Monique also have an internet business where they are working hard to enjoy 6 Saturdays and a Sunday. With the help of their flexible work schedules and wonderful family in Atlanta, Jackson and Monique have kept the kids out of daycare, something very important to them. Homeschooling is very important to the family. The family collectively enjoys hanging out all over the city, shopping, antiquing, scrapbooking, eating Mexican and Asian food, cooking, entertaining, attending festivals, hanging at any mall, going to church, listening to all types of music, reading, road trips, yard work, watching Oprah / Project Runway / anything with a dinosaur, and spending time together at home.
We spent early Saturday morning at the farmer's market in downtown Baton Rouge, where we ate fresh baked pastries, sipped on organic smoothies and took home fresh peaches, blueberries and pecan pie.
