The high chairs for the dolls were too cute. This place has thought of everything.
The restaurant has a dessert bar for little diners who just want to have "sweet treats" like chocolate fondue and banana splits.
The menu was very nice. The girls had a choice of 3 courses: starters, main and side dishes. They dined on Warm Pretzel Bread with cheese and honey mustard dipping sauces, Margherita Flatbread, Chicken Satay with mango and honey mustard dipping sauces and that was just the "get started course." Next we moved on to "The Main Event" and dined on Grilled Pacific King Salmon and Asparagus with a caper sauce, Mac and Cheese and Stellar Cheese Pizza. Lastly "On the Side" the girls enjoyed Mom's Creamy Tomato Soup and Buttered Noodles.
Asparagus anyone?
Yummy Tomato Soup. Leslie wore just as much soup as she ate.
Happy Birthday Time!!!
Since Leslie doesn't eat milk-based ice cream and they were all out of sorbet, they celebrated with a powdered sugar-covered Snickerdoodle cookie and a strawberry sweet treat.
Addy Goes to the Salon
Leslie's Addy doll, a vintage heritage hand-me-down from her 20 year old cousin, Michelle, gets her braids re-done. Leslie's Addy, we discovered, is a Pleasantville doll which makes it a valuable collector item since Mattel has since bought the company from the original creator. When the hairdressers saw the coding on the back of Addy's neck, Addy got extra special treatment and pampering. The staff all gathered around to see a genuine Addy in such impeccable condition. What a lucky girl Leslie is to have this Addy. To celebrate Addy's legendary status and since her $20 hairstyling was on-the-house, we purchased a special American Girl doll stand to display her on for viewing only. Leslie will not be playing with this doll.
Leslie tries out the salon chair...too cute!
The gang poses for a couple of group photos. What a fun day this was!!!
Silly faces. Quadson and Daddy had re-joined us after their male bonding time.
